One web presence which carries some information on the local AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY - this by Richard Winters, G3NVK, a Founder Member in 1958 and current Secretary/Treasurer. Under the heading of LINKS on the WINFORCE UK site is a detailed record covering the 62 years of amateur radio in the area starting in 1938 and coming to the end of the twentieth century, including the Service history of Mr. Winters with Royal Signals in the UK and at |Belsen, Germany.
